Another amazing stallion standing at Possum Hollow.

This is the new guy. He arrived February 13, 2009 @ 7:00a.m. He stands at 18.0-18.1, roughly 2200lbs, wears a size 10 shoe. He is high headed, athletic, and showy. His conformation is amazing, his temperament is wonderful. He is exactly what we what here on our farm.

He has a great pedigree (posted below). Simply this guy has it all! He is an asset to the Belgium breed. He is one of the best looking Belgian's we have seen.

He was shown in halter until he was 3, also showed in women, men's, and youth cart. He did great in his show career and became a herd sire till he came to Possum Hollow. This is an amazing proven stallion.

The picture was taken when he was taken out of the pasture, no grooming, no fluffing, Imagine what he looks like when he is groomed and fluffed!

His foals are as amazing as he is. His foals inherit his wonderful temperament, he passes his size and conformation. If you want size, beauty, and brains this is your guy!

This guy came off the trailer (which he was unloaded at the street) like a gentleman. He walked up the driveway which is about 3/10th of a mile between 2 pastures of mares. Santana did not act up once, he walked proud, and calmly, no pulling, or silliness. Another true gentleman. He did not yell, nor whine.  No doubt he is a good boy. He will remain here with us to continue his breeding career.

This Santana standing in the yard he has mares on both sides of him and he is paying attention to the person holding his lead, this guy has an incredible natural stature. He commands attentions.

My pregnant daughter holding him, with my grandson riding around, he is as gentle and as sensible as they come. My daughter is his favorite person.

Santana had his feet done yesterday, he was great for the ferrier.

5-3-09 Santana stands like a trooper for a bath, even likes his hooves scrubbed. No problem with spray bottles, or anything moving around him.

So we decided to saddle train him. So far, so good. He has not acted stupid or complained once yet.
